The Learner will watch a moving train and explore the following spatial concepts: under, between, around, over, next to, behind, in and out.
Help the Learner recognize and label the location of the train using prepositions. In this scene, the Learner is placed on a walkway above a train station. The train travels in a figure 8 pattern around the track. As it passes specific locations, billboards are posted to indicate where the train is located. The train first travels "under the bridge" and under the Learner. It then goes "around the bend", , "between the trees", "next to the waterfall", "over the bridge", "behind the station". After it travels under the bridge again, it goes "into the tunnel" and then comes "out of the tunnel".
